After running away to the sun for a week I have come back refreshed and raring to go with millions of new ideas on how to build my FLC Business.

But that doesn’t mean I’m forgetting the little things, like blogging!

I thought I’d start back with a little peak into a makeup artists make up bag!

When I go away I love to keep my skin feeling fresh and glowing, a tan always helps me feel more confident with my skin. Although I have always been lucky to have pretty good skin, even I have days where I feel it needs total coverage!

Here’s what I take on holiday with me!

A great primer – this time I took Dior Forever and Ever primer. Its oil free and mattifying but not drying, great for keeping a healthy glow without looking sweaty!

A powder foundation – My favourite powder foundation is Bare Minerals, super lightweight, buildable and can also be used just as a bronzer if you don’t want to wear much at all!

A liquid foundation – For when I want to feel more ‘done’ but still super light I use Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation. Again its very buildable but so silky smooth and has a fantastic colour range too!

A fantastic pallet – I purchased the Charlotte Tilbury ‘Instant Look in a pallet’ These are fantastic, they include three eye shadows, a bronzer, highlight and two tones of blusher. Perfect for any look, great pigments in all colours and super easy to blend.

A Waterproof Mascara – For this holiday I chose the Bobbi Brown ‘No Smudge Mascara’ which is incredible, waterproof, smudge proof and keeps my lashes beautifully clump free and curled!

A versatile eye pallet – As there are SO many to choose from, I took my favourite for blue eyes (which I have) which is the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Pallet in ‘Up town girl’ 4 stunning shades including a pink shimmer which looks incredible in the sunshine!

Lipstick – As I found it too hard to choose just one or two, I took three! All Charlotte Tilbury (can you see a theme here!!) in ‘The Queen’ ‘Pillow Talk’ and ‘Bitch Perfect’ All fantastic colours ranging from the summer plum red, pink nude and light warm pink – all fantastic for blondes!

The other important things to remember to take are a great make up remover and skin wash, so much sweating, suncream and sand really plays havoc with your skin so its more important than ever to thoroughly cleanse! Then of course a really good moisturiser, something light and non greasy, my favourite is good old faithful Simple!

I’d love to know your favourites to take on holiday with you! Comment below!
